Financial Analyst

Location: Zug, Switzerland (Must have work licensing in Switzerland)

Work Setup: Hybrid of 3 days at the office and 2 days flexible


 

Major Duties/Responsibilities:


Finance Business Partner for Trading, ESG and Sustainability teams (50%)

  • Provide administrative support for contractor management, including contract preparation, monthly expense reconciliation and compliance monitoring.
  • Provide financial support to the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) team, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting. Assist in the development and monitoring of ESG-related financial metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and support ESG initiatives. Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support the daily administration of all futures transactions, their settlement and any reconciliation needed with outside dealers and commission houses, Accounting, Internal Audit, Treasury, and external auditors. This includes futures contract administration, margin calls, and complete reconciliation of accounts to the general ledger in SAP.
  • Ensure SAP quantity contracts are created and match supplier contracts (price, volume, specification, delivery time period)
  • Monitor and track cocoa PPVs by product and region.

 

 

SwissCo / Enterprise Business Development (30%)

  • Manage projects to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure comprehensive documentation. Coordinate resources and communicate effectively with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

 

 

Financial Planning and Analysis (10%)

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making. Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Performing analysis and risk assessments on commodities.

 

 

Finance Support (10%)

  • Manage Ad Hoc requests coming from management.
  • Support Swiss Team on finance topics.

 

 

 

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:  

  • Good work ethic, sense of accountability and team skills.
  • Strong Leadership and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Strong accounting/financial experience/background.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Budgeting and expense controls.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Excellent organizational skills, along with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills.

 

 

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree required, in Business Administration or equivalent with exposure in Accounting and Finance


Experience:

 

  • German - Strong Preference 
  • Advanced Excel - Formulas 
  • Must have Working Permit to be employed in Switzerland
  • Must have Strong Financial Analysis experience 
  • Must have Strong Budget and Expense Management experience
  • Knowledge of Derivatives Finance
  • Knowledge in end-to-end General Accounting Process
  • Must have strong change management experience 
  • Must be a proactive self-starter who require minimal supervision
