How will you fit in the big picture? 

The Sr Analyst, Digital Systems plays a critical role in enabling Hershey’s digitally integrated manufacturing strategy at the Annville Fulfillment Center—a state-of-the-art, highly automated facility focused on innovation, reliability, and real-time data-driven operations. 

 

What will you do? 

  • Provide plant-level IS/OT support, troubleshooting and resolving issues across SCADA, MES/MOM, and automation systems 

  • Support implementation and maintenance of Ignition SCADA and IIoT-enabled systems 

  • Act as liaison between plant operations, engineering, and corporate IT 

  • Execute and troubleshoot SQL queries and databases 

  • Support PCs, servers, printers, network equipment, barcode and telecom systems 

  • Support cloud and virtualized solutions 

  • Support corporate digital projects (testing, training, deployment) 

  • Maintain network/server health and escalate as needed 

  • Support disaster recovery and data protection programs 

  • Deliver strong end-user support 

 

What strength will you bring? 

  • Experience with SCADA systems (Ignition preferred) 

  • Knowledge of OPC-UA, MQTT, IIoT architectures 

  • SQL and data visualization tools 

  • MES/MOM systems (e.g., Traksys) 

  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.) 

  • Exposure to Python, JavaScript, or similar 

  • SAP / WMS (Blue Yonder) exposure a plus 

  • Cloud and virtual systems knowledge 

  • Strong troubleshooting and independence 

  • Manufacturing experience preferred 

 

Minimum Requirements 

Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or related 

Experience: Minimum 3+ years supporting IT/OT or manufacturing digital systems
