Job Title: Associate Brand Manager(Amplify Snack Brands)

Job Description:

 

The Associate Brand Manager’s primary responsibility is to drive brand performance and grow brand equity/share through both innovation and communication activations. The ABM supports the Brand Manager in setting the brand’s consumer communications and innovation strategies.  This role interacts with agency partners in support of communications strategy, planning and implementation but also works closely with internal cross functional teams to help develop, build and execute the brand’s innovation pipeline.  

 

Scope:

 

Manage consumer communications projects: develop a creative territory that brings the brand to life and enables effective consumer communication with a digital and social first approach. Assist in identifying optimal campaign structure to reach consumers when and where they are most receptive.

Lead initiatives in the communication plan around specific touchpoints or consumer targets including agency and cross-functional team management, strategy, planning, execution and results measurement.

Cross functional leadership & collaboration: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional team of R&D, finance, operations/supply chain, external agency partners and the base marketing team. Contribute to a culture of innovation and brand building across the broader team

Demonstrate the ability to manage projects on time and on budget as well. Identify opportunities and lead initiatives that activate the brand’s platform and rally partners to execute.

Commercialization of innovation concepts: Lead the commercialization of innovation from ideas to launch. Includes consumer validation and testing, packaging development, and customer sell-in. Partner with agencies, cross-functional partners, and key stakeholders to ensure communication of project updates and changes.

Innovation support plans: develop and execute innovation support plans to ensure success in-market. Provide sales team with sell-in story and tools for launch.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor Degree: MBA preferred
  • MBA or 3+ years of experience in Marketing at a CPG or similar company
  • Self-starter with high degree of personal initiative
  • Strong project and timeline management skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to interact with senior level management across functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and collaborative entrepreneurial environment
