Position Summary


We are seeking a best-in-class Finance Manager to support the Supply Chain Finance Director and Director of Network and Operations Strategy regarding cost of goods (manufacturing costs, waste, depreciation) and capital planning. This person must have passion and strong partnership capabilities to drive transparency and influence decisions that will foster smart business decisions and ultimately increase gross margin and profit.




  • Lead planning and forecasting cost of goods. Partner closely with operations, purchasing, accounting, co-manufactures, and the FP&A team to drive transparency and solutions in a high inflationary environment
  • Identify risks and opportunities to the business plan and communicate those to leadership
  • Prepare monthly reporting package and analysis on COGS performance including volume/mix/rate and cause of change analysis.  Prepare key messages and bridges for leadership reviews that include meaningful business insights
  • Manage the monthly capital review and approval process.  Oversee the completion and reporting of post audits for capital investments
  • Develop financial models for innovation projects and capital expenditures.  Use metrics such as cost savings, IRR, NPV, and margin to recommend projects for go-forward consideration
  • Storytelling on periodic forecasts and monthly performance variances
  • Analyze key performance drivers, develop variance insights, and make recommendations
  • Partner with the Commercial finance team on new product pricing and financial analysis




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other Business area, or MBA
  • 5-7 years previous experience in FP&A, evaluating business performance trends, revenue/expense management, and/or supply chain. Experience in a CPG company preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and capital investments
  • Demonstrated ability to create a tangible data-centric story that resonates with non-financial audiences and drives action
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience with an ERP system are required.  Familiarity with NetSuite a plus.
