Pay for this position starts at $29/hr. Pay is determined by level of skill and experience.

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure smooth operations and a safe working environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, and General Electric

Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.

Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Must be able to perform maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on mechanical and electrical repair.

Experience troubleshooting/repairing and wiring 3 phase motors
-
Experience with pneumatics
-
Experience troubleshooting/repairing and replacing VFD’s (not required but a plus!)

Working with HMI and PLC controls
Qualifications and Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred.

Proven experience, 2 – 3 years, as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial setting.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems efficiently and perform effective repairs.

Proficient in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
