12-hour shift (7pm-7am)

Working 3-4 days/week (One week: Sun, Wed, Thurs Next week: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat). This is a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation)
Job Summary:
Responsible for shuttling trailers to and from satellite warehouse(s), moving trailers around the property lot, and tracking trailer locations.
Responsibilities:
-
Safely operate Yard Tractor while maneuvering trailers on the property lot.

Safely operate all Material Handling Equipment and perform the necessary safety checks prior to operating.

Always maintain food safety awareness and immediately report any issues to management.

Operate within the guidelines of all Hershey and SQF policies and procedures.

Perform all necessary inspections and verifications.
-
Correctly attach identifying tags or labels to materials as needed.

Make all transactions within S4 Hana to ensure inventory accuracy and lot control are always maintained. Comprehend data entry into S4 Hana and databases.

Move materials in and out of storage safely and without damage

Generate all necessary shipping documents via S4 Hana

Communicate to customers, drivers, dispatchers, etc., at the window or by phone and with oncoming crew to ensure a smooth transition.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
-
Class A CDL in good standing and maintained as required under DOT
-
Forklift certification, Yard Tractor Certification, M.H.E. Certification.

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required (must pass the Math skills test).

Manual dexterity required for operating machinery

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds is required. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products up to 40 pounds.

Machinery operation requires using safety equipment including but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hard hats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
