About the role:

We are looking for a Junior EHS Analyst. The ideal candidate is a hands-on safety professional with experience in industrial safety within manufacturing environments, strong floor presence, and the ability to identify risks, drive corrective actions, and support a proactive safety culture. This person should be comfortable working across shifts, interacting with plant personnel and contractors, and delivering training and safety initiatives with clarity and credibility.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily industrial safety inspections across different shifts at the El Salto and Santa Ana plants to detect unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
  • Report findings, track corrective actions, and follow up to ensure proper closure.
  • Support the authorization and release of contractor work permits through field inspections and compliance validation.
  • Deliver and support industrial safety training for new hires, temporary personnel, plant employees, and contractors.
  • Prepare and analyze industrial safety statistics, reports, and trends to support decision-making and prevention efforts.
  • Develop and promote safety awareness campaigns aimed at strengthening the plant’s safety culture and increasing employee participation.
  • Help ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations, internal standards, and prevention practices in a high-activity manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain close coordination with operations and plant teams to reinforce safe behaviors and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Requirements | Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial safety / EHS roles.
  • Experience in manufacturing plants, ideally with 500+ employees.
  • Knowledge of Mexican industrial safety regulations, including NOMs STPS and Civil Protection requirements.
  • Experience conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and following up on corrective actions.
  • Experience supporting or delivering safety training to plant personnel and/or contractors.
  • Ability to analyze safety KPIs, reports, and statistics.
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office and training material/presentation tools.
  • Advanced English (bilingual preferred), including the ability to understand and use technical industrial safety terminology.
  • Strong communication, organization, negotiation, and field execution skills.
  • Availability to work on-site under a rotating 6x2 schedule with weekly shift rotation.
  • Availability to support operations at both Santa Ana and El Salto.
