Job Overview

This role performs routine logistics tasks including receiving, sorting, staging, labeling, and basic material handling under close supervision. It ensures consistent daily logistics execution. It also develops foundational logistics skills through hands on experience and training This role supports basic logistics tasks related to shipping, receiving, and warehousing. It follows clearly defined procedures and safety expectations to support daily logistics operations. The role completes assigned work accurately and escalates issues or questions promptly.

Accountabilities

1. Performs routine shipping and receiving activities such as sorting, unpacking, labeling, and verifying materials against documentation. Follows established procedures to maintain accuracy and compliance. Escalates discrepancies or damage to supervisors promptly.
2. Supports warehousing activities through stocking, organizing, staging, and basic material movement. Identifies misplaced items or visible issues and reports them for correction. Maintains cleanliness and order within storage and work areas.
3. Updates simple inventory logs or checklists under close supervision. Identifies and communicates discrepancies or unclear information. Ensures materials are handled and stored safely.
4. Prepares labels, tags, and basic paperwork needed for routine transportation tasks. Follows safety procedures when assisting with loading or staging. Requests guidance when documents are incomplete or unclear.
5. Communicates task status, questions, and issues to supervisors and team members. Follows instructions carefully and asks for clarification when needed. Escalates concerns that may affect workflow performance or safety.
