How will you fit in the big picture? 

You will strengthen manufacturing performance by setting, analyzing, and improving operating parameters and controls across production processes and equipment. With safety, food quality, productivity, and sustainability at the center, you will partner across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and Engineering to standardize work, reduce losses, and advance Hershey Lean and autonomous maintenance. 

 

What will you do? 

  • Analyze OEE, waste, overweight, efficiency, and labor metrics; identify trends and support root-cause analysis and action plans. 
  • Develop and maintain process specifications, centerlines, process maps, time-and-motion studies, standard work, and operating procedures. 
  • Apply continuous-improvement tools, including autonomous maintenance and SMED, to improve performance and sustain gains. 
  • Coordinate plant trials and new-item setup, align resources, validate results on the production floor, and support innovation and new equipment centerlines. 
  • Communicate line metrics and project results, conduct sustainment audits, connect departments, and help build a strong visual factory. 

Minimum Requirements 

Experience: 3+ years of relevant manufacturing, process improvement, or operations experience. Experience with Lean Six Sigma, root-cause problem solving, process mapping, and manufacturing systems is preferred. 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Chemical, Food, or a related engineering discipline preferred. 

  • Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, safety standards, Microsoft Office, and SAP. 
  • Effective leadership, communication, negotiation, and cross-functional problem-solving skills. 
  • English proficiency sufficient to support business and technical communication.
