Plumber

The Granby maintenance team is currently looking for a Plumber (non-construction) on the day shift. The Plumber performs various work related to the verification, repair, maintenance of plumbing systems. He must be familiar with all inspection requirements and local regulations pertaining to the installation of plumbing.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform various work related to the verification, repair, maintenance and cleaning of plumbing systems;
• Assemble, repair, install and maintain air, gas, water, steam, sewer and sanitary plumbing pipes;
• Follows up on service requests and controls the interventions carried out;
• Perform emergency and troubleshooting work in the maintenance, repair and modification of plumbing systems;
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work using the CMMS maintenance management system, participate in the implementation of the plumbing system maintenance plan and ranges;
• Provide the estimate of materials specific to an installation and repair when necessary;
• Comply with inspection requirements and local regulations regarding the plumbing installation;
• Install new equipment and accessories related to plumbing systems;
• Unclog sinks, basins, showers, urinals, cabinets and vents;
• Investigate and resolve the causes of problems;
• Read plans, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the supply network piping;
• Perform other related duties.

The ideal candidate will have the profile defined below:

• DEP in plumbing
• Two (2) years of experience and more related to the position
• Have a good team spirit, a sense of initiative and be resourceful
• Experience in the food industry (an asset)
