ROLE OVERVIEW

The position of Analyst Procurement Services is responsible for the transactional work to support the procurement activities of direct materials ,  commodities, specialties and packaging  such as but not limited to  peanuts, dairy, almonds, cocoa, coconut and oils.   This includes Order placement & maintenance , close communication with vendors for confirming materials arrivals & follow-up with stakeholders & suppliers to ensure clearing of any issues to execute accurate & on-time  payments to vendors.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

•            Conversion of purchase requisitions into Purchase orders; deep understanding of Source to Pay  management process  for raw materials .

•            Clear understanding of raw material exceptions records, SAP workflows, VIM´s and Good Receipt /Invoice Receipt  discrepancies on timely manner ;with back-up responsibility for supporting other global regions .

•            Manage and Analyze  SAP S4 reports – such as but not limited to : Open Order Report, Raw materials Exceptions ; Good Receipt/ Invoice Receipt , Blocked invoices, etc.

•            Maintain  Vendor Relationship with special focus on customer services & accounts receivable departments.

•            Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders such as Global Procurement , Material Management ,Accounts Payable and internal clients (E.g., Trading Company, Audit, Materials Management, Finance,  etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

•            General knowledge of SAP S4 , Office 365 proficiency & Supplier collaboration tools with EDI integrations.

•            Strong critical thinking required & Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

•            Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and driving process improvements.

•            Excellent English language communication skills – verbal and written.

•            Experience connecting with remote stakeholders to perform activities in regional & global  offices; available to work according Hershey US Calendar / Easter standard  time zone.

•            Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent is required

•            Minimum 2-4 years in similar buyer/procurement  role.
