Summary

 

As part of the Reporting Center of Excellence (COE), this position delivers standardized, accurate & actionable data in a timely manner that supports cross-funictional and enterprise-wide teams, allowing them to make business decisions. Specifically, this position will play a key role in data acquisition, data manipulation, automation-techniques, and final report creation for both, report-writing and complex dashboard requests.

Responsibilities:

 

Report Generation

•  Develop and delivery of ADHOC and Project-Driven Reporting requests (e.g. identifying requirements, coordinating set-up, and investigating data sources/data via Data Mining and working with IS support)

•  Build Relational Databases, Query Creation and connect to data, merge data, and data mine using (DataLake, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure)

•  Utilize advanced reporting techniques and software knowledge to standardize and automate output (e.g.Power BI, Power Automate, PowerQuery)

•  Utilize querying techniques using SQL, Python to transform complex databases into reporting layers

•  Help QA Logic, Data, and Reporting Output

•  Communicate and disseminate report progress and status to Report Stakeholders.

•  Establish workflow documentation (e.g. Reports catalog, Definitions, Processes, etc.)

 

Report Maintenance

•  Maintenance of existing reports and dashboards, solutioning break, fixex, bugs and change requests

•  Ensure reports and dashboards are up-to-date and continue to be processed within the Reporting COE’s Service Level Agreements

 

 

Minimum knowledge and skills

 

Prior experience with Sarbanes Oxley control compliance requirements preferred

Strong Analytical skills

Knowledge of accounting and policies and procedures

Strong Excel skills and competence with other Microsoft functionality

Strong computer skills – comfortable using various systems

Strong collaboration and teambuilding skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with Senior Management and external auditors

Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports

Ability to synthesize massive amounts of data into clear, concise conclusions for management

Experience with SAP and other systems (EDI) a plus

 

Education

 

Business, Mathematics, Computer Science-related Bachelor’s Degree Required (Economics, Administration, International Business, Operations, Project Management, Statistics, etc.) or equivalent experience
