How will you fit in the big picture?
The Associate Manager, Category Procurement is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for assigned indirect procurement categories. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to deliver value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position plays a key role in driving cost optimization, ensuring supply continuity, and supporting business growth through strong supplier partnerships.
What will you do?
Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business priorities and procurement objectives.
Lead sourcing events, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection processes.
Identify cost savings, productivity improvements, and cost avoidance opportunities through spend analysis and market intelligence.
Partner with cross functional stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective sourcing solutions.
Manage supplier relationships and performance through service, quality, cost, and compliance metrics.
Negotiate and support the administration of commercial agreements and contracts in collaboration with Legal and business partners.
Ensure adherence to procurement policies, compliance requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
Proactively identify supplier and business risks and implement mitigation plans to support continuity and resilience.
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
3+ years of progressive experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Supply Chain, or a related commercial function.
Experience leading supplier negotiations, sourcing projects, contract management, and cross functional stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge of supplier relationship management, spend analysis, procurement compliance, and risk management.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field.
Advanced English proficiency required
