The Sr Mgr Demand Planning & Transformation is responsible for optimizing the allocation of resources to meet project demands between Hershey Transformation Program Team (TPT), Information Technology, and the GCC. This role involves planning, scheduling, and managing resources to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively . They will maintain an inventory of resources, assess demand against supply, and perform feasibility assessments for sourcing options. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to balance resource availability with project priorities.

Responsibilities / Outcomes
Resource Allocation and Capacity Planning: Allocate resource capacity to the right activities and plan for additional resources required to meet demand.
Demand Management: Re-phase demand if necessary, depending upon supply pool information, and review unconstrained demand against supply pools to understand the delta.
Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of resources, skills, and availability, and schedule resources accordingly.
Feasibility Assessment: Perform feasibility assessments to evaluate sourcing options and plan for transitions to sourcing partners.
Demand Re-phasing: Re-phase demand over time based on the view of supply pools and the category and priority of demand.

Scope (Key Deliverables)
Resource Allocation Plans: Detailed plans outlining how resources will be allocated to various projects.
Resource Inventory Reports: Regularly updated reports on the availability and skills of resources.
Feasibility Assessment Reports: Documents evaluating the feasibility of different sourcing options.
Demand vs. Supply Analysis: Reports comparing unconstrained demand against available supply pools.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze complex data sets to make informed decisions about resource allocation and demand management. This includes understanding supply and demand dynamics and identifying potential gaps.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously. This competency ensures that resources are allocated efficiently and that project timelines are met.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to liaise with TPT, IT Resource Managers, and GCC. This includes the ability to clearly convey resource plans and address any issues that arise.
Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and resolve issues related to resource allocation and project demands. This involves creative thinking and the ability to develop practical solutions to complex problems.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of resource management software and tools to track and manage resources effectively. This includes familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.

Experience & Education
Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, information technology, or a related field is typically required. Advanced certifications in project management or resource management are preferred.
Experience: 7+years of experience in resource management, project management, or a related field. Experience in the technology or information services sector is highly desirable.
