Major Duties/Responsibilities: 
The Digital Shelf Analyst provides best-in-class digital content and product data to Hershey’s customers and consumers by focusing on how we are performing on the digital shelf with our retailer partners. This role will be the day-to-day contact for our digital shelf tool and will analyze performance data to drive optimization. The position will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, as well as identifying and fixing root causes. The Digital Shelf Analyst will be the engagement lead with our partners ensuring accountability of deliverables, transparency of retailer performance, and driving an understanding of the digital shelf and content support model. This role is also responsible for all integrations with the digital shelf tool, ensuring accurate and timely data and reporting. This position is focused on ensuring Hershey gains value from all upstream content efforts via retailer shelf measurement. Digital shelf measurement is critical to delivering flawless shelf execution across our top retailers and is a key enabler of omnichannel sales growth.


Own daily operations of the digital shelf tool and data integrations
• Act as the SME of the digital shelf tool, owning all modules (Content, Search, Availability, Ratings & Reviews, Pricing) and be the main POC with shelf vendor partner
• Own digital shelf data quality and UI accuracy including review of item portfolio, product data, and filters, as well as reviewing & actioning both the direct feed and the tool UI 
• Develop annual digital shelf goals, track & report progress, determine root cause of score changes, and identify actions & owners to deliver shelf goals
• Maintain and update scoring elements by retailer in Profitero UI to reflect Hershey shelf strategy and goals
• Collaborate with team of near-shore content syndication analysts and omnichannel retailer team members to align content shelf opportunities with actioning and retailer “final mile” opportunities
• Work with search team to update keyword data to inform search/placement scores
• Inform users on system upgrades and enhancements to deliver better shelf insights
• Deliver Profitero analytics to leadership and functional users, including pulling monthly dashboard metrics and identifying owners & actions


Lead digital shelf expansion, new opportunities, and optimizations
• Lead expansion opportunities such as retailer platform additions and zip code expansion, delivering successful implementation, launch, and new user training & adoption
• Own all Salsify-Profitero channel mapping and enhancements to support optimizations for the automated feed
• Support Salsify tool optimizations that affect the feed and complete QA for successful deployment of new data in Profitero
• Complete comprehensive digital shelf tool RFP, gaining input and buy-in from key user groups to select a tool that delivers high impact/high value for Hershey users
• Lead digital shelf data opportunities with the Commercial Data Store (CDS) to unlock use cases across sales, omnichannel, category management, supply chain, SRGM and pack types
Partner with internal stakeholders to drive digital shelf data utilization and inform opportunities
• Act as the liaison and advocate for the digital shelf tool, driving engagement and utilization across teams, determining best practices and use cases
• Educate the broader team and lead all stakeholder trainings in conjunction with vendor partner
• Deliver Profitero analytics to leadership and functional users, including monthly business reviews with top retailer partner teams via dashboard metrics and opportunities identified
• Review retailer content scorecards and compare to Hershey strategy & scoring; Inform JBPs and retailer alignment required for successful digital shelf execution

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:  
Education: BA Degree from an accredited university in business, digital marketing, or a related field
• 2+ years of related work experience, preferably in digital/eCommerce and CPG
• Experience with content deployment tools
