Role Overview:
With an unbiased view, robust analytical framework, and cross-functional perspective the Analyst Planning will provide portfolio planning, insights and recommendations to influence strategic decision making and enable dynamic business management with oversight from their leader.
The Analyst role works with their leader to develop the annual financial Plan and owns monthly consensus building and performance tracking for assigned business unit(s) as part of the Integrated Business Management (IBM) process. Responsibilities:

In conjunction with leader/team, develops out-year Plan for assigned Franchises/business unit(s) via frequent assessment, refinement, and integration of bottoms-up and top-down planning assumptions

Comprehends, pressure-tests and synthesizes quantitative and qualitative inputs from various functional areas of the organization (including but not limited to media plans, national and customer-specific promotional plans, innovation, inventory management, packtype strategy, and category distribution strategy), leveraging disparate data sets and cross-functional wiring to understand business drivers and implications to Commercial and Operational Plans

Comprehensively analyzes the business to understand implications to Plan and Consensus

Works collaboratively with leader and Key Stakeholders to ensure KPI’s are met for in year performance
Qualifications:
Works with relevant teams to identify, isolate, and appropriately size R&Os; grasps challenges and topline/bottom line impact associated with gap-filling activities, assesses solutions and understands trade-offs, and influences/enables key decision making to maximize financial targets, minimize costs, and protect customer relationships
Maintains thorough and explicit record of key planning assumptions by building block and key driver/initiative
Serves as the voice for both Commercial and Demand Planning/CSC in core organizational processes (e.g., KEM Meetings, SKU Rationalization, product hierarchy changes).
Experience & Education:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Marketing, Sales, Category Management, Analytics, Finance, or Supply Chain
Understanding of the P&L, building blocks, mix implications, and growth levels.
