Job Overview
What will you do?
- Gather, validate, and prepare data from established sources to support recurring reports, dashboards, and business analyses while ensuring adherence to defined quality standards.
- Perform standard analyses to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and data anomalies, escalating findings and data quality concerns to senior team members as appropriate.
- Apply customer segmentation frameworks, targeting criteria, and customer alignment rules to support planning activities, list development, and commercial execution.
- Maintain documentation of segmentation decisions, assumptions, and exceptions while ensuring alignment with established business guidelines.
- Develop draft presentations, charts, tables, dashboards, and summary reports that translate data into clear and actionable business insights using established team templates and standards.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and subject matter experts to improve the quality, clarity, and effectiveness of analyses and presentations.
- Support enhancements to customer engagement tools, reports, and commercial materials by identifying usability gaps, process improvement opportunities, and recommendations that improve Sales execution and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Strategy, Analytics, and Commercial teams to provide analytical support for customer planning and engagement initiatives.
- Review reports, presentations, and communications for consistency with approved commercial positioning, business priorities, and customer messaging frameworks.
- Compare materials against approved reference documents and templates to identify inconsistencies and ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
- Contribute fact-based insights and recommendations that support customer-facing initiatives, business planning processes, and organizational growth objectives.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Education & Requirements
Experience:
- Experience in Category Management, Consumer Insights, Analytics, Sales Strategy, Revenue Growth Management, or a related commercial function.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of consumer and shopper behavior, market research methodologies, and data-driven decision making.
- Knowledge of consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry trends and category management principles, tools, and processes.
- Proven ability to identify fact-based opportunities and translate insights into compelling business recommendations and growth strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and contribute to sustainable business growth.
- Effective customer-facing experience with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environment.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Consumer Insights, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
