How will you fit in the big picture?
You will support recurring manufacturing finance reporting, consolidation, and analysis across Hershey’s global manufacturing network. Partnering with Manufacturing Accounting, Supply Chain Finance, Corporate FP&A, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help deliver trusted reporting, explain performance drivers, and improve visibility to results, risks, opportunities, and operational trends. This is an opportunity to combine finance, analytics, and continuous improvement in support of better business decisions.
What will you do?
• Deliver timely monthly, quarterly, and annual manufacturing finance reporting; consolidate plant and business-unit inputs and validate completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze variances and operational drivers, including material usage, labor, overhead, production volume, efficiency, waste, and absorption, translating findings into clear business insights.
• Support budgets, forecasts, standard updates, planning templates, and global views of manufacturing risks and opportunities.
• Build and enhance scalable reporting and visualization solutions using Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel, SAP, and related tools.
• Reconcile outputs to source systems, investigate discrepancies, document processes and controls, and improve data integrity and reporting consistency.
• Collaborate across Finance and Manufacturing on business reviews, ad hoc analysis, special projects, and reporting enhancements.
Minimum Education & Requirements
Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, manufacturing or supply chain finance, business analytics, or a related analytical role required; 2–4 years preferred. Experience with recurring reporting, large data sets, and visualization or automation tools is strongly preferred. CPG, manufacturing, cost accounting, or plant finance experience is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• High attention to detail, clear communication, sound prioritization, and a collaborative continuous-improvement mindset.
• Working knowledge of SAP, S/4HANA, or a related ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Alteryx or similar workflow automation and Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
• Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to connect operational activity to financial outcomes.
