Job Location:  Hershey, PA. (Hybrid Role – 3 days in office and 2 days’ work from home)

 

 Job Summary:

The sourcing systems analyst will be a key resource for enabling Hershey’s leading Snacking Powerhouse vision. They will support the procurement team with digital initiatives and business analytics which are critical to delivering against procurement category strategies.

Main duties of the Sourcing Systems Analyst:

Digital Procurement (50%) – The Sourcing Systems Analyst will act as an administrator and ‘go-to’ person for various sourcing tools, systems & processes ensuring that the systems are proactively monitored, functioning, maintained, optimized, and supported.  This role will function as a super user for sourcing systems and will trouble shoot and support the resolution of issues, proactively manage system functionality updates, coordinate with Hershey IS to maintain system performance, and act as the link between the system suppliers and the user base.  This role is critical in supporting the users of the various Hershey’s sourcing systems (Ariba, Aravo, e-Auction/e-RFP, etc.) by acting as the key lead for user setup, training, documentation, and issue resolution.

Business Analytics (30%): Enable procurement reporting and analytics work focusing on automation and development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).  Leverage tools such as, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Power Automate to build reporting capabilities to monitor purchase price variance (PPV), on time / in full (OTIF), cash flow, and quality performance. Integrate key metrics to ultimately deliver a standardized wholistic supplier assessment to support category management activities.

Collaboration (20%):  Collaborate effectively across the three main procurement organizations at Hershey; Commodities/Ingredients, Indirect, and Packaging. The sourcing systems analyst will be a critical resource in support category strategy and process. They will need clear and effective communication skills to speak effectively to different internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and technical skills required with Intimate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with SAP is a strong positive for this role.
  • Experience with managing Procurement systems (Ariba, etc.) or other software systems preferred.
  • Experience with independent analysis and working with large data sets preferred.
  • Experience with system administration, basic programming, and software testing preferred.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, Power Automate, Microsoft Visio preferred.
  • Basic working knowledge of databases and data warehouses preferred.
  • Ability to work under general supervision.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, supply chain, business, or related field of study, or equivalent experience, required.
  • 1-3 years knowledge/relevant experience in supply chain, sourcing or procurement and related supply chains.
