Job Overview
Job Location: Hershey, PA or Open to Remote
The Domestic Transportation, Analyst Logistics, is responsible for managing and optimizing customer outbound shipments across the U.S., ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery performance. This role coordinates daily shipments, partners with Uber Freight and carriers, monitors KPIs such as on-time delivery and transit times, and resolves service issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
By analyzing transportation data, improving routing and load planning, and collaborating with customer service teams, the analyst supports both operational efficiency and strategic supply chain goals, directly impacting cost control, reliability, and customer trust.
What will you do?
- Ensure On-Time Customer Deliveries - Manage and monitor outbound shipments to consistently meet customer service-level agreements and delivery commitments.
- Optimize Transportation Efficiency - Analyze shipment data to improve routing, carrier utilization, and load planning, reducing transit times and costs.
- Carrier Relationship Management - Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve service issues, ensuring reliable performance.
- Performance Reporting & Continuous Improvement - Track and report transportation KPIs and drive corrective actions.
- Customer Communication & Issue Resolution - Act as a key liaison between transportation, customer service, and sales teams to proactively address shipment concerns and maintain customer satisfaction.
- This role will be applicable for CMG outbound shipments direct to customers.
Qualifications
Experience:

Knowledge of freight modes, transportation regulations, supply chain operations, and systems like TMS or ERP. They should have strong analytical and reporting skills, proficiency with Excel, and effective communication for working with carriers and customers. The role requires the ability to coordinate high-volume shipments under tight deadlines, build strong relationships, identify process improvements, and adapt to seasonal demand or unexpected challenges.
Education:

Holds a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field, with professional certifications considered a plus. They bring experience in transportation or logistics. Practical expertise with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and shipment tracking tools is preferred, along with familiarity in working across freight modes such as parcel, LTL, and FTL. This background equips them to analyze performance metrics, optimize routing, resolve shipment issues, and collaborate effectively with carriers and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, cost-efficient customer deliveries
