Job Overview
This role is a skilled individual contributor focused on delivering day-to-day customer strategy analyses and support for defined customers or projects. It applies established methods for segmentation, analysis, and commercial positioning to produce accurate and insightful outputs. The role partners with more senior SMEs and Sales stakeholders to shape recommendations and prepare materials for internal and customer-facing use. It contributes to process improvements by sharing observations from recurring work.
Accountabilities
1. Deliver Recurring and Project-Based Customer Analyses Executes assigned analyses using defined data sources and tools to support specific customers, segments, or initiatives. Ensures outputs are accurate, timely, and structured to answer given questions. Summarizes key findings and flags noteworthy trends or anomalies to more senior team members. 2. Apply Segmentation and Alignment Criteria in Daily Work Uses established segmentation and customer alignment criteria to build lists, prioritize accounts, and support planning tasks. Ensures that data selections and groupings follow documented rules. Raises questions when segment definitions or rules are unclear or appear inconsistent. 3. Build Supporting Materials for Strategic Discussions Prepares slides, charts, and summary documents for internal reviews and customer discussions under guidance. Ensures materials are clear, visually coherent, and tell a logical story based on the analysis. Incorporates feedback from senior SMEs and stakeholders to refine outputs. 4. Support Improvements to Commercial Engagement Touchpoints Strengthen the sequence of Sales-led interactions with customers by identifying gaps in commercial engagement touchpoints and recommending changes that improve alignment, program execution, and business outcomes. This includes noting issues observed in how engagement routines are supported by data, tools, or materials. Shares specific suggestions to enhance templates, checklists, or supporting content that make it easier for Sales to follow the expected engagement approach. 5. Help Maintain Consistent Commercial Positioning in Outputs Checks that language and key messages in their materials match the commercial positioning guidance provided by senior team members. Compares drafts to approved examples or templates to catch misalignment. Makes edits or seeks input to ensure that materials support a consistent narrative across teams.
