Summary of Role:
The Associate Manager, Consumer Connections Operations is a key executional partner within the Marketing Intelligence & Enablement function, responsible for managing the day-to-day workflows, campaign intake processes, and operational readiness across Hershey’s Consumer Connections team. This role supports cross-functional alignment, resource coordination, and the operational systems that power media, content, commerce, and analytics execution. Working across the five core pillars of Consumer Connections, this role helps ensure that campaigns launch with the right infrastructure in place—briefed, tagged, tracked, and measured correctly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Marketing Performance Reporting: Support the creation and maintenance of recurring dashboards and scorecards that track campaign and channel performance. Compile data from multiple sources (media platforms, CRM tools, brand trackers) to deliver holistic marketing performance views
- Campaign Analytics & Insights: Assist in campaign analysis to understand what worked, what didn’t, and why. Help interpret results against KPIs and benchmarks, and contribute to post-campaign wrap-ups and learning agendas
- Data Management & Quality Assurance: Partner with Data & Analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across platforms and reports. Perform routine data validation, troubleshooting, and documentation of processes
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Media, Brand, Finance, and Creative teams to support data needs tied to planning, activation, and performance evaluation. Contribute to ad hoc data requests and special projects, such as competitive analysis or consumer engagement studies
- Visualization & Storytelling: Build and refine visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools) that simplify complex data and elevate insights. Support the development of marketing intelligence presentations for internal teams and leadership
Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Experience working with marketing, media, or consumer data
- Ability to translate data into clear insights and narratives
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Familiarity with media metrics, marketing KPIs, and digital performance platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Ads, DSPs, etc.)
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Education –
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience –
- At least 2–4 years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or related fields
- Experience in a CPG, agency, or fast-paced consumer environment preferred
