Associate Manager, Retail Development
Location: Hershey, PA or Remote
Summary
The Associate Manager of Retail Development supports the Retail Development Dynamic Deployment Manager by executing core operational and strategic initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, maintaining reporting workflows, and providing responsive support to our retail teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is retail facing, with expectations to attend all TDMs and work in the field quarterly. Travel ~5 weeks/year.
Role Responsibilities
Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain accurate data for territory, routing, time, mileage and performance systems (e.g., TD Linx & RDT cleanliness). Support key data organization such as cycle turnover routing maintenance, while partnering with the team to automate processes where possible (e.g., THRIVE). Support Maps Advanced base visit plan optimization, creation (monthly), and tracking output vs base routes to ensure Maps is functioning maximumly. Maintain all Routing, Calendar & Maps related job aids/ How-to-guides/ training videos. Work with RLs and ALs directly to solve any routing issues or store realignments. Holds shared responsibility for routing analytics accuracy.
Operational Support & Issue Resolution:
Coordinate and document field requests (Retail one-offs), dual routing uploads, mid-cycle changes, and new hire profile setup. Ensure inquiries to the Retail Development Inbox are properly routed and resolved.
Process Improvement & Collaboration:
Identify manual workflows that can be automated, research solutions, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency. Work with Salesforce, Industry peers, and IS partners to find ways to improve and maintenance Maps Advanced
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:
Provide timely updates, share insights from reporting, and collaborate with leaders to align on business needs. Serve as a reliable point of contact for internal partners, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
~4+ years of experience in retail, sales support, or related role
Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tools
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently with proactive problem-solving while thriving in a team environment
Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
Creative and curious mindset, with willingness to learn new tools and bring forward fresh ideas
