Summary:
Strategic leader of business-critical product portfolio initiatives and portfolio reviews by partnering with various cross-functional groups to support business priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Leads commercial portfolio reviews for the respective business owner (VP/Sr Dir/Dir), in partnership with the portfolio operations team. Provides expert analysis, mines insights, and recommends actions while delivering forward-looking project portfolio visibility and viability, financial assessment, and capacity indicators to drive prioritization and business decisions.
- Controls Stage-Gate process design across Types and Tiers for the respective business portfolio and owns one or more initiatives to continuously improve the Stage-Gate process by identifying enhancements to deliverables, the Accolade system, and/or project portfolio management tools.
- Provides critical leadership role in ensuring the successful development and execution of projects for the commercialization of new and changing products/pack types, actively leading timelines, defining scope, managing resources, holding functions responsible for deliverables, and owning the budget.
- Accountable to deliver profitability and operational success by problem solving, removing roadblocks, elevating risks/issues, developing risk mitigation plans/contingencies, and facilitating decision making to drive projects forward through the stage gate process.
- Project management process expert - owns project execution and adherence to stage gate processes from project initiation (confirming correct project type & tier) through 1st delivery to the customer.
- May manage one or more direct reports.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required. MBA/Graduate Degree Preferred.
- 5-8+ years of related work experience, preferably in CPG - Product Lifecycle Management
- PMP Certified preferred
- Lean Six Sigma preferred
