Finance Co-Op
The Hershey Company is seeking to fill multiple Co-Op positions across a variety of functions within our Finance organization.
The Co-op positions require a full-time (40 hours / week) commitment for 12 weeks in Summer 2024 followed by either FT (40 hours / week) or PT (15-20 hours / week) commitment during the Fall Semester. Performance will be calibrated throughout the duration of the Co-Op opportunity. Successful Co-Ops may be considered for full time employment after completion of their college degree.
Final assignments will depend on business needs. Potential areas / departments hiring Co-Op candidates include:
US Sales Finance

Provides analysis, commentaries, and supporting schedules that detail & summarize the financial performance of customers

Communicate with sales representatives and independently follow up on their requests

Use a business warehouse application in support of the trade promotion process and analysis activities
-
Leverages productivity tools to compile data into actionable formats that influence smart decisions

Assists Sales Finance personnel and customer teams to build their annual plan
-
Assists Sales Finance Analysts, Senior Analysts and Managers in their monthly close activities

Engage in aspects of customer waste reduction initiatives \
Corporate FP&A

2024 Plan preparation; template optimization

2024 Benefit Book headcount preparation

SG&A process documentation on forecasting and actual results

Create a process and tool to audit Miscellaneous Expenses every month

In charge of the weekly dashboard reports, which are one of the critical reporting tools within the department.

Maintains weekly dashboard improvements and process documentation.

Reviewed and approved the annual planning process by maintaining supporting files and collaborating with business owners.
- Involved with part-time labor reporting and forecasting (annual plan / BU / LE).

Participation in special ad hoc projects related to THX finance.

Minimum Education Requirements:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, entering your Junior or Senior year as of Summer 2023; majors in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and Economics are highly preferred

Preference will be given to students with a GPA of 3.2 or higher

Reliable transportation to and from work, and ability to commute to or relocate to Hershey, PA for the duration of the Co-Op assignment
