Future Opportunities Intern Governance Risk & Compliance (Summer 2024)

OPPORTUNITIES:

We are looking for a Third-Party Cyber Risk Management (TPCRM) Intern for the IS Security team who will participate in third-party risk and compliance activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the maturing the TPCRM process and technology implementations.
• Identify, assess, manage, and track risk related issues the TPRM risk register.
• Partner with both IT and Business partners to help prioritize remediation efforts for risk related issues and control gaps.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline TPCRM process and assessments.
• Assist in identifying collaboration opportunities between TPCRM and other Information Security Teams
• Preform third-party risk assessments in coordination with the business and supply chain.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft tools.
• Passion for analytical problem solving.
• Passion to learn and explore topics outside technical comfort zone.
• Pro-active self-starter with a desire to make an impact.
• Ability to work in teams or individually.
• Courage to challenge the status quo.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• GPA of 3.3 or higher preferred
• Bachelor’s degree with quantitative, STEM focus (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology - other degrees will be considered). Graduate degrees with an analytical focus considered too.
