How will you fit in the big picture?
As the on-site learning business partner and instructional designer for the West Hershey Plant, you will create modern digital training assets that strengthen how manufacturing employees learn and how trainers deliver instruction. Working in a matrixed environment, you will connect plant priorities with the Lean Manufacturing COE and help advance learning and development capabilities across the site.
What will you do?

Partner with plant and corporate stakeholders to design, develop, and implement learning programs using the Training Within Industry (TWI) manufacturing training methodology.

Lead the West Hershey Skills implementation within the Augmentir Connected Worker platform.

Use change management and performance consulting practices to identify efficiencies and improve the employee experience.

Create engaging digital training content, including video, photography, eLearning, and work instructions, that helps learners learn and trainers train more effectively.

Serve as a member of the plant Learning and Development Pillar and support continued advancement in pillar maturity.

Work independently with professionalism and composure while adhering to the plant employee handbook and applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, plant procedures, and site rules.
Minimum Education & Requirements
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in instructional design, learning and development, performance consulting, change management, or a related field. Manufacturing and/or consumer packaged goods experience is preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. A master's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theory, performance consulting, and change management.

Ability to produce and edit video and photography and develop effective digital learning materials.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a self-driven, independent working style.

Professional maturity and composure under pressure, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment.
