Summary: 

 

The CRM Operations Lead will actively manage the day to day operations of CRM programs in partnership with our CRM business stakeholders (Consumer Opt-In, Consumer eCommerce, B2B eCommerce, Corporate Communications, and other teams).  Our primary CRM platform is the Adobe Campaign Standard platform.  This role will take operational ownership of the platform and all related capabilities and tasks.  This includes CRM related Data Transfers, platform integrations, platform maintenance and enhancements, and all other related operations.  This is NOT an email trafficker/deployment manager role.

This role will be the primary operational interface for all other Hershey operational leads (e.g. Owned Web Properties, Paid Media, Search, Social, eCommerce, etc..), the Adobe Campaign Support organization, and the CRM Manager.   This role will work with multiple small teams with unique but often overlapping schedules and requirements. 

This role will have broad responsibility and empowerment to identify and implement technical and operational requirements of each new CRM program.  Candidates should have a broad and well-rounded understanding of CRM ecosystems.

 

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Day to Day Management and Administration of the Adobe Campaign Standard platform, supporting 8 sending groups.
  • Coordinate email operations with a small operational support group of platform managers for Owned Web Properties, Digital Advertising, eCommerce, Content Management, and other digital marketing practices.
  • Manage and optimize data transfers between Adobe Campaign and source systems.
  • Manage and Administer Data tables (Profile and Reference tables) within the Adobe platform
  • Diagnose and track down any functional issues to a root or functional cause, and resolve issues as needed.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal partners, customers and others through good interpersonal skills.
  • Identify goals and objectives, success criteria, and action items/deliverables for completing projects in conjunction with Product and Solutions Managers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

 

  • Required: 3+ years of hands on experience with Adobe Campaign or equivalent platform (e.g. SFMC, Responsys, etc…)
  • Required: Demonstrated familiarity with the Adobe Suite (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, etc…) 
  • Required: Significant demonstrated experience in end to end email campaign management (e.g. ecosystem integration, tracking, reporting, etc…)
  • Required: Ability to translate requests from non-technical stakeholders in to operational steps and successful outcomes
  • Required: Ability to create and modify technical documentation for processes
  • Required: High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision.
  • Required: Strong API development and management skills
  • Required: Demonstrated competency in a variety of Data Transport and ETL processes and methodologies.  Prefer experience with via Azure Data Factory
  • Required: Moderate technical trouble shooting capabilities (e.g. identify communication vs. authentication failures, etc…)
  • Required: Demonstrated knowledge of metadata management concepts and practical application
  • Required: Basic understanding of SQL Databases including basic SQL query management and optimization skills
  • Required: Ability to translate requests from non-technical stakeholders into operational steps and successful outcomes
  • Required: Ability to create and modify technical documentation for processes
  • Required: Strong administration and task management skills
  • Required: Ability to work in a small, cross-functional team environment
  • Preferred: Demonstrated competency in Agile Digital Project Management.

 

Minimum Education Requirements:                                

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Information Systems OR 3+ years experience as an Adobe Campaign administrator.
  • Strongly Preferred: Adobe Campaign Standard or Classic Developer or Architect Certification
