Manager, Business Analysis S/4 OTC

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Key role in leading the functional specific collaboration and delivery with 3rd party partners to collectively deliver a) design/enhancement of parts of our business processes in the Global Template, b) development of the related functional design within the S/4 ecosystem for these business processes , and c) support the implementation and deployment of enhancements/changes in the system and processes including testing and training. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in CPG, strong business process and functional design experience in the context of SAP S4 HANA, along with reasonable design leadership experience, and a strong passion for automation, digitization, and continuous improvement. A successful candidate will effectively leverage 3rd party capabilities and services to address opportunities to create business value.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Business Process and Functional Design: Lead the design for respective parts of our E2E business processes and the related S/4 functional design. Collaborate with our Business SMEs and 3rd parties.
- Business Process Digitization and Automation: Identify opportunities and lead the automation and digitization design for respective parts of our business processes (business process and functional design) using the appropriate technologies and features within & beyond the SAP S4 HANA ecosystem.
- Implementation and Testing: Support the implementation process. Lead the creation & documentation of test scripts and execute test scripts. Collaborate with our business SMEs during UVT and collaborate with our 3rd party throughout. Support the automation of testing.
- Leadership: Lead the execution/implementation of small to medium initiatives from design to deployment (< $1-3M). Execute without or very limited project mgmt. or scrum support.
- Performance Monitoring: Lead the design & implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the health and performance of the respective business processes and systems. Leverage data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with our 3rd parties to leverage their expertise and support to design and implement the enhancements, digitization, and automation of our processes.
- Documentation and Training: Ensure business, functional, and system design documentation is up to date. Enhance/develop training materials and execute training sessions to ensure end-user proficiency and compliance.
- Stakeholder Management: Actively support senior leadership in the stakeholder management across the enterprise including executives.
- Sustained business process and system stability.
- Ensure system upgradability due to appropriate customizations.
- Required documentation (business process, functional, training, testing) is in solid shape
- Reduce cost to serve and manual errors by leveraging process digitization.
- Design and implement business process and system changes and enhancements in close collaboration with the business and technology community. Ensure buy-in and support for changes.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Business Process & Functional Design: As an experienced and skilled problem solver design our end-to-end business processes with a strong focus on digitization & automation to reduce cost to serve, error rate, and speed to market. Develop the business process and functional design while leveraging the S/4 ecosystem capabilities to limit core S/4 customizations. Work closely with our business SMEs and stakeholders to ensure support and buy-in for the changes. Collaborate with our technical experts to ensure an effective technical design.
- Testing and Deployment: Support the testing process by creating and executing test scripts and collaborating with the business SMEs on user validation testing. Ensure required compliance documentation is created and stored. Support the deployment and hypercare process as needed.
- Documentation and Training: Develop/Enhance the required business process and functional documentation. Ensure both documentations are properly stored. Support the development of training material and the execution of training as needed.
- Cross functional work: Collaborate with the Business SMEs and the technical team from developing the process design to deploying the technical and process solution.
- Management of initiatives/deliverables: Experienced in the deliverable (agile or waterfall) of small to medium initiatives from design to deployment without the need for scrum or project mgmt. support.
Experience & Education:
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Master in STEM) a big plus. Mix of Business and STEM degrees a big plus.
- Required Experience (yrs.) in business process and functional design in S/4 landscape:
- Ideally 5-8 years of experience
- Previous consulting experience in a top IT or Mgmt Consulting firm preferred
