Manager, Data Steward & Operations

Summary of Role:

The Enterprise Master Data Steward & Operations is responsible for overseeing the governance, quality, and operational support of master data related to vendors and banking operations. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical data assets, enabling efficient business processes and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Master Data Steward collaborates with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, IT, and compliance, to maintain robust data standards and support enterprise-wide data initiatives.  This positions has people leadership and oversight of 4-5 direct reports.

Role Responsibilities:

• Set strategic direction and future vision for the EMDM Vendor and Banking Data Stewardship & Operations.
• Create metrics that matter for the vendor and banking teams.
• Develop Talent with a focus on automation and AI capabilities.
• Stakeholder Engagement and collaboration.
• Lead implementation of vendor and banking related tools and capabilities.
• Direct reports 4-5
• Master Data Records Up to 500k records
• Data Definitions. Business Rules, and Standards 2k – 4k

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Strong computer skills, Experience in Process Optimization Techniques (Power Automate, SQL, PowerBI, Relational Databases)
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to pay attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
• Team Management & project Management skills
• Ability to prioritize work

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: 

• Education –
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience –
  • At least 3+ years of experience in data quality management, data governance, or a related field.
