Job Location: Hershey, PA 

Note: This role can be remote with occasional travel to Hershey.

We are seeking a Manager of Leadership Development accountable for planning and managing the design and delivery of leadership development strategy. This individual will collaborate closely with our key internal business partners, talent professionals within the COE and other stakeholders to translate business needs into impactful leadership development experiences that develop future leaders in Hershey’s leadership pipelines. This role is accountable for end-end oversight and business outcomes of our key leader programs and other leadership competency-building efforts including the design, development, delivery, analysis, measurement, and maintenance of all new and existing global talent programs to ensure these programs provide clear demonstrated impacts and a positive return on overall performance.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:  

  • Exceptional consulting skills with proven business acumen to address priorities, and challenges
  • Excellent presentation, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage the design, development and delivery of LD programs across broad client groups
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to develop a comprehensive plan for leader development that incorporates emerging technologies
  • Knowledge of feedback, talent evaluation and measurement approaches as they apply to leadership development interventions
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically influence and persuade senior leaders
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of basic P&L levers
  • Identifies solutions through effective questioning
  • Digital appreciation i.e. embrace and leverage technology
  • Excellent project management skills to oversee execution of complex communications strategies

 

 

Minimum Experience Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 5+ years in an HR, Leadership development or related function
  • Leadership development program design and development experience
  • Must have experience managing large complex projects or programs across global organization
  • Experience and accountability for people, budgets, contract negotiations and outcomes

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, I/O Psychology or a related field
  • Multiple different roles in HR such as HR Business Partner experience, Talent Management, Leadership Development etc.

 

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, marketing or other relevant field
