How will you fit in the big picture?
What will you do?
- Develop and execute the annual shopper learning agenda for Walmart and Sam’s Club to fuel category growth and business performance.
- Lead foundational shopper research to deepen understanding of shopper behaviors, motivations, and purchase drivers.
- Translate consumer, shopper, retailer, and category trends into commercialized insights and strategic recommendations.
- Create and deliver key business-building insights for annual playbooks, National Sales Meetings, joint growth initiatives, GCICs, and external engagements.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to Walmart and Sam’s Club, providing insights-based support to unlock growth opportunities.
- Drive alignment and connectivity across Consumer Insights, Shopper Insights, Analytics, Commercialization, and Sales teams.
- Synthesize multiple data sources into clear, compelling stories that inspire action and support business decisions.
- Influence stakeholders through impactful communication, strategic framing, and insight-driven recommendations.
Minimum Education & Requirements
Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Shopper Insights, Consumer Insights, Category Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience leveraging multiple data sources to generate actionable business insights.
- Experience working with large retailers, CPG organizations, or syndicated data sources preferred.
- Experience analyzing POS, panel, shopper, and consumer research data preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Advanced degree preferred but not required.
