Role Summary:
The Manager of Indirect Procurement (IS) will oversee and manage the procurement activities for indirect goods and services within the Information Services (IS) segment of the Supply Chain function. This role involves developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement processes align with the company’s goals and compliance standards. The Manager will work closely with internal IS departments and external suppliers to drive cost efficiency, enhance service quality, and support the overall strategic objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities:

1.Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to indirect IS goods and services. Align procurement plans with organizational goals and IT requirements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
2.Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal performance and compliance. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
3.Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor and manage procurement budgets for IS expenditures. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize spending and reduce overall costs.
4.Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with IS departments and other internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs. Provide expertise and support to ensure procurement activities align with their requirements and organizational objectives.
5.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Implement risk management strategies to address potential procurement issues and mitigate risks.


Qualifications:

Procurement Expertise: Strong understanding of procurement processes, strategies, and best practices. Demonstrates the ability to apply procurement principles effectively to achieve cost efficiency and service excellence.
Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers. Skilled in achieving favorable terms and managing supplier performance to meet organizational needs.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing procurement data and market trends to inform decision-making. Utilizes data-driven insights to enhance procurement strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Effectively communicates procurement strategies and requirements, fostering collaborative relationships and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously. Demonstrates strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure timely and effective execution of procurement activities.



Experience & Education:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., CIPS, CPP) or advanced degree is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on indirect procurement within the IS or technology domain. Proven track record of managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost savings in a consumer packaged goods environment.
