Our team members are the key ingredient that bring our exceptional food experiences to life. Food and Beverage Attendants work in our food and beverage "action stations" to both prep for and serve our guests.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in food prep and production as well as service and guest interaction. Such skills include multitasking, ability to think ahead and plan, lead self and others, sense of urgency, meet or exceed the pace set by leaders, and overall preparedness for peak service periods.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide prompt and courteous service to Hershey's Chocolate World guests in any one of our food service action stations

Partner with the Production team to complete the prep work appropriate for the expected level of business of the food and beverages offered in their stations

Responsible for cleaning workstations and equipment according to standard operating procedures and weekly/monthly schedules

Complete daily temperature logs; properly rotate, label, and store prepped food items; monitor hot and cold food holding temperatures; and other required food safety duties

Engage with guests by talking about and recommending Hershey’s inspired food and beverage items

Stocking front of house areas to support sell through and provide a strong experience for all guests

Performs other related duties as assigned by the department Manager or manager-on-duty such as assist with cashiering when needed or stocking/restocking inventory
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

Ability to work independently and multitask

Must possess (or be able to complete within 6 months) Food Handler certification

Friendly, enthusiastic, team player attitude

Perform skills typical of a food service environment such as stocking, prepping, and cleaning
-
Serve food according to standard operating procedures with appropriate packaging
-
Perform bakery and guest service skills typical of a kitchen environment (knife skills, attention to detail, read and follow a recipe and instructions, etc.)

Ability to work at a fast pace for an extended period

Must maintain a neat appearance and meet the uniform standards

Must be able to continuously push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds

Must be able to walk or stand up to 8 hours

Requires repetitive tasks which may require repetitive motions

Ability to bend, stoop, and twist

Good communication skills

Ability to function effectively as part of a team
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Individuals with a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required
-
Individuals with 1 year experience in high volume restaurant, bakery, hotel, or catering operation is preferred but not required
