Senior Analyst Direct to Consumer, Ecommerce Solutions

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Sr. Analyst, Consumer Commerce Solutions will be responsible for the delivery of Direct to Consumer (D2C) Ecommerce technology solutions leading the design, architecture, and development across the D2C tech stack. This role involves analyzing consumer data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to enhance direct-to-consumer initiatives, ultimately contributing to the company's growth and profitability.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Platform: Responsible for overall platform architecture supporting Hershey’s Ecommerce tech stack including Commerce, OMS, WMS, and supporting processes.​
  • Requirements and Scoping: Closely aligned with cross-functional partners, clearly define functional requirements and translate for delivery by technical partners.​
  • Project Lead: Working together with multiple IT teams and stakeholders, ensure key initiatives are delivered meeting business requirements and timelines.​
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track the performance of DTC initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.​
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, IT, and other departments to ensure data integration and support for DTC strategies.​
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies that can enhance DTC efforts
  • System enhancements that drive new capabilities and/or optimize & automate existing processes.   Delivery of solutions to deliver across the key building blocks for the business to meet the financial objectives and enhance consumer experience​
  • Roadmap and sprint planning to facilitate the delivery of the system enhancements driving growth to the D2C business.​
  • Monthly Performance Reports: Operational reporting detailing the performance of the DTC platform, including key metrics, trends, and actionable insights.

  • QUALIFICATIONS:
    3+ years implementing or managing Ecommerce solutions in Retail/CPG leveraging SalesForce Commerce cloud or similar packaged SaaS solutions​
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting the technical platforms and design of Ecommerce storefronts and implementations​
  • 3+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Less, Jquery and related web technologies​
  • 3+ Experience with middleware technologies and designing integrations from multiple environments leveraging an API-based approach​
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R, and turning into visuals in PowerBI​
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations. Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.​
  • Technical Proficiency: Additional experience in CRM systems, Customer Data (CDP) platforms, Payments industry, digital marketing, Point-of-sale, and agile methodology


Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a STEM related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional) is preferred.​

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data & systems analysis, preferably within the consumer packaged goods or retail industry. Proven track record of driving successful DTC initiatives and working in cross-functional teams.
