ROLE OVERVIEW
The Sr Business Domain Architect plays a critical role in enhancing business processes through the strategic design, analysis, and implementation of technology solutions. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand their needs, identify inefficiencies, recommend process improvements, and leverage digital tools to enhance operational effectiveness. The Business Process Architect partners closely with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable, sustainable solutions that align with organizational goals. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, analytical acumen, and change management capabilities to drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Process Optimization: Lead process mapping, gap analysis, and redesign efforts to optimize end-to-end business processes across multiple functions.
- Collaboration: Work with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and solution designs.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvement strategies using data-driven insights, automation tools, and emerging technologies.
- Project Management: Manage and prioritize multiple process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Governance and Metrics: Establish process governance frameworks and performance metrics to monitor and sustain improvements.
- Change Management: Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies. Support change management efforts by developing training materials, conducting user training sessions, and providing ongoing process documentation.
- Innovation: Stay current on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and CPG market trends to identify opportunities for innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Automation and ERP Systems: Experience with automation platforms (e.g., RPA, Power Automate) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Project Management: Project management capabilities, including prioritization, timeline management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Data Visualization: Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required.
- 7+ years of experience in business process engineering, process improvement, or business analysis roles.
- Experience working in a CPG or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar methodologies is a plus.
- Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
