This Manager responsible for developing The Hershey Company’s paid media investment strategy on the Sweets, Refreshments, and “Better for You” categories. Investment includes but not limited to TV, Addressable Media, Social, Retail, and Search.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for driving positive business growth for accelerating brands & categories:
    • Responsible for translating category & brand’s business and marketing objectives into a media strategy that will drive measurable business results.
  • Develop Paid Media Investment Strategy
    • Accountable creating, developing, and owning media strategy with advanced audience strategy, channel mix, flighting & weighting, defining campaign objectives & kpis, to drive YOY growth and consumer demand.
    • Own media learning agenda in partnership with brands to ensure continuous improvement & learning, regarding the optimal media mix and performance.
    • Must be able to quantify impact and value of media plans, optimizations, and investment changes.
  • Manage & Collaborate with Media Partners & Agency team
    • Serve as a Hershey company leader and subject matter expert. Be a trusted advisor to Brand Teams and strong collaborator with Agency Teams to execute business priorities.

Work as a cross-functional team to clearly define opportunities/problems, develop solutions and drive decision-making.



Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities: 

  • Must demonstrate strong business acumen.
  • Must demonstrate expert understanding of media planning and buying across all media platforms.
  • Must be able to link media delivery and insights to commercial objectives of growing sales, share and profit.
  • Must be analytical and able to form and clearly communicate media strategy recommendations based on their analysis.
  • Must be able to influence and lead change with more senior brand and agency peers.
  • Deep curiosity, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a small, agile team environment.




5-7 years’ experience in media agency management, media planning, and media buying. Must also have extensive knowledge of ad tech, media data and analytics. Will consider both client and media agency experience.



Bachelor’s Degree
