Senior Manager Data & Technology

Job Summary:
The Senior Manager Data & Technology is responsible for driving the strategic use of data and technology to optimize procurement processes and performance. This role involves managing data analytics, technology integration, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, cost savings, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights and advanced technology solutions to support decision-making, streamline operations, and achieve procurement objectives.
Responsibilities:

Data Analytics and Reporting: Lead the development and implementation of data analytics tools and reporting systems to provide actionable insights for procurement strategy and operations. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of procurement data and reports to support informed decision-making.

Technology Integration: Oversee the integration and optimization of procurement technology platforms, including ERP systems, procurement software, and digital tools. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless technology adoption and alignment with overall business objectives.

Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency, transparency, and cost-effectiveness. Identify and implement innovative technology solutions, such as AI, machine learning, and automation, to streamline procurement processes.

Supplier Management: Utilize data analytics and technology to improve supplier performance management, risk assessment, and relationship management. Develop and implement strategies for supplier evaluation, selection, and optimization to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and logistics, to align procurement strategies with business goals. Provide training and support to procurement team members on data analytics tools, technology platforms, and digital processes.
Qualifications:

Proficient in using data analytics tools and techniques to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations to drive procurement performance.

In-depth understanding of procurement technology platforms, including ERP systems, e-procurement software, and digital tools. Ability to manage technology integration projects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure alignment with business needs.

Strong project management skills to lead digital transformation initiatives, technology integration, and process improvement projects within procurement. Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve project goals and deliver results.

Expertise in using data and technology to assess supplier performance, manage risks, and enhance supplier relationships. Strong negotiation and communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders for optimal procurement outcomes.
Experience & Education:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Data Science, or related field) is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, data analytics, or technology integration within a consumer packaged goods company. Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives, implementing procurement technology solutions, and managing data analytics projects. Strong experience in supplier management, project management, and cross-functional collaboration
