Sr Manager, Hosting & Platform Operations
Location: Hershey, PA or Dallas, TX
Summary:
The Senior Manager Hosting & Platform Operations is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of hosting and platform services. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and security of the organization's IT infrastructure, overseeing both on-premise and cloud environments. The Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs, drive innovation, and optimize performance while managing a team of technical experts.
Major Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive hosting and platform strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives and technology roadmap. Continuously assess and refine hosting solutions to enhance performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.

Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of on-premise and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate and integrate new technologies and services. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal service delivery and cost management.

Implement best practices for infrastructure management, including automation, monitoring, and incident response.

Successfully managing technical resources across several locations to deliver defined service levels.
Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of hosting and platform technologies, including on-premise and cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Ability to design and manage complex IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

Skilled in assessing emerging technologies and integrating them into existing infrastructure to drive innovation and efficiency.

Significant experience managing offshore teams and third party partners to deliver services.
Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on hosting and platform services.
