Job Overview

Accountabilities

1. Manage Delivery of Legal Services for Assigned Functions or Projects The role ensures timely and accurate legal guidance that supports business operations and decision making. It reviews legal issues and identifies risks that require escalation. The Sr Attorney ensures work outputs meet legal quality standards and organizational expectations. 2. Provide Legal Counsel on Operational and Commercial Issues The role analyzes legal questions arising from day?to?day business activities and provides clear recommendations. It interprets applicable laws and policies to help teams determine compliant paths forward. The Sr Attorney ensures commercial and operational decisions incorporate relevant legal considerations. 3. Review, Draft, and Negotiate Moderate? to High?Complexity Agreements This role leads contract processes for their area, ensuring terms are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business needs. It negotiates key provisions to appropriately manage risk and support operational requirements. The role coordinates with partners across functions to ensure agreements support timely execution. 4. Identify and Address Legal Risks Within Assigned Areas The role conducts legal analysis to foresee potential issues affecting operations or compliance. It provides recommendations to mitigate risk while enabling business activity. The Sr Attorney escalates novel or ambiguous issues requiring further legal interpretation. 5. Support Legal Operations and Team Coordination This role manages workflow, priorities, and coordination across legal workstreams in their area. It ensures alignment of legal outputs with organizational standards and processes. The Sr Attorney collaborates with peers to improve legal service efficiency and consistency.
