Sr. Customer Replenishment Planner – 1A

Location: Bentonville, AR or Hershey, PA

Summary:

On-site in Bentonville, AR, or in Hershey, PA, this position is accountable for the following:

• Ensure flawless Walmart D1 executions through proactive supply chain planning & monitoring.  Drive corrective action with internal & external business owners to mitigate retail risk.
• Partner with sales and category management to communicate the forecasted volumes and shipment timing.  Support PlanEx financial analysis of wave timing.
• Collaborate upstream with demand and supply planning to plan production & mitigate supply & service risks.
• Track & monitor performance of distributor partners, drive corrective action to meet promos and resets wave timing.  Proactively communicate to retail operations any expected delays. 
• Reduce waste exposure by pushing excess product from distributors to retail.
• Monitor point of sale retail take-away trends and elevate sell-through risks/opportunities to other business units
• Build and maintain multiple customer-facing relationships, including Walmart Replenishment Managers and Buyers and third-party distributors.  Build and maintain multiple internal relationships, including Sales, Category Management, Customer Service, Finance, Sales Planning, and supply chain partners.
• Support & manage ad hoc projects, as necessary

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, execute, and communicate forecast changes to Hershey supply chain.
• Forecast, communicate, and monitor seasonal supply chain execution, inclusive of wave volumes & timing.
• Partner with Global Business Services & distributor teams to ensure flawless execution of seasonal wave timing from Hershey through retail delivery
• Weekly reporting of key performance measures to internal sales, Hershey supply chain, and Walmart replenishment.
• Report against and drive corrective actions as necessary for all key performance measures.
• Actively participate in formal internal and external meetings to facilitate business planning.
• Represent, and lead as applicable, the Walmart Team on assigned strategic initiatives, projects, policies, and industry groups.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a supply chain function or a related field
• Minimum Bachelor degree
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, Alteryx skills preferred
• Strong Project Management skills
• McLane, demand or supply planning experience preferred
• If based in Hershey, role will require 10% travel to Bentonville, AR for key customer meetings
