How will you fit in the big picture?
The Sr. Controller, External Reporting & Corporate Accounting leads corporate accounting, consolidation, and external financial reporting. You will help safeguard the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting under U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements while strengthening governance, improving close processes, and delivering high-quality disclosures to investors and regulators.
What will you do?
- Lead the corporate accounting close and consolidation process, including the corporate accounting team, intercompany eliminations in partnership with HBP, and improvements to close efficiency and timeliness.
- Lead preparation and governance of SEC filings, financial statement disclosures, and supporting documentation, coordinating with Investor Relations and Legal and aligning internal and external reporting.
- Ensure consistent application of accounting standards, implement new standards, support policy updates, resolve complex accounting matters, and partner with business unit and international finance teams.
- Serve as a primary liaison with external auditors for quarterly reviews and the annual audit, reporting and disclosure procedures, documentation, and SEC comment-letter responses.
- Maintain strong governance and internal controls over financial reporting while driving continuous improvement across reporting and close processes.
- Lead teams responsible for corporate close, consolidations, complex transactions, and SEC reporting while partnering with the CFO, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Legal, business leaders, Corporate Development, and internal and external auditors.
Minimum Education & Requirements
Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience, including Big 4 public accounting and experience with a public company or SEC registrant. Both are required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or Finance.
- Active CPA required; MBA a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Experience with ERP accounting and finance systems such as SAP/Group Reporting, plus experience with BlackLine and Workiva.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $135,280 to $169,100 per year. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of job‑related factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill set, education, and training. In addition to a market-competitive base salary, our Total Rewards package includes performance‑based incentives and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package designed to support overall physical, mental, and financial well‑being (as applicable).
