Sr. Manager, Performance Based Trade

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for implementation of new Performance Based Trade system slated to go-live in 2025 for CMG and 2026 for Salty. This role will oversee the new Performance Based system including finalizing and optimizing all critical criteria (distribution, merchandising, assortment, share), rolling out staged approach and making recommendations on performance targets for trade. The Sr. Manager, Performance Based Trade will collaborate closely with Sales teams and Sales Finance in addition to the Trade Optimization team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Own the performance based trade model (by channel) including all inputs, analytical wiring, diagnostics, and capability development of the system overall
- Ensure close connectivity and integration with Sales Strategy and Channel Leadership as it relates to setting trade rates, reviewing findings, and modifying investment recommendations
- Responsible for setting up governance and review of performance based trade system (monthly) in line with critical enterprise forums
- Ensure close connectivity and integration with Trade optimization team
- Revenue growth, share growth, profitability through optimized customer investment strategies – with outcomes in line with modeled scenarios
- Data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in trade investment effectiveness
QUALIFICATIONS
Required knowledge, skills, abilities to deliver accountabilities
- Performance Based Trade
- Expertise in performance based trade system
- Demonstrated experience deploying customer investments with demonstrated revenue, share, and profitably growth
- Strong CPG customer experience, involvement in customer-facing teams, customer JBPs, and experience in customer strategy setting & execution
Others:
- Ability to think strategically and align initiatives with long-term business goals
- Analytical orientation, including advanced proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
- Expertise in business intelligence tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Required Education:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Preferred: Masters in Business, Marketing, or related field
Required Experience (yrs.):
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in trade strategy, customer strategy, or related roles within a commercial function
