Job Overview

This leader delivers technical expertise within a defined scope of the Technical Product Development & Optimization Job Sub‑Family, supporting the advancement of product solutions through disciplined experimentation and structured development methodologies. Operating within the Technical career track, the role applies established scientific and engineering techniques to address moderately complex challenges and drive incremental innovation that strengthens product performance, compliance, and manufacturability. It collaborates closely with cross‑functional partners to translate consumer and market insights into technically sound product concepts and ensure alignment across product, design, operations, and business functions. The position contributes to the development and refinement of specifications, ensuring they reflect safety, regulatory, financial, and brand expectations across the product lifecycle. Through consistent technical delivery and cross‑functional coordination, this leader enhances workflow reliability and supports steady progress along the innovation and commercialization pipeline.

Accountabilities

1. Execute Technical Workstreams That Support Defined Project or Product Objectives Deliver high quality technical outputs for assigned areas of product development, ensuring solutions align with established standards and experimental frameworks. Apply sound technical judgment to maintain accuracy, reliability, and consistency. Escalate risks appropriately while ensuring deliverables support project timelines and expectations.
2. Apply Established Methods to Solve Moderately Complex Technical Challenges Use known techniques, analytical approaches, and research to address technical problems that require thoughtful interpretation and adaptation. Identify root causes and propose practical solutions that improve performance or feasibility. Contribute to team problem solving by sharing insights and supporting data driven decisions. 
3. Contribute Incremental Innovation That Enhances Product Development Outcomes Identify opportunities to refine methods, tools, or constructs that improve efficiency, quality, or experimentation within the development process. Introduce enhancements that support measurable improvements without requiring major system or architectural changes. Reinforce a culture of continuous improvement through testing, iteration, and collaboration.
4. Support Development Activities from Prototyping Through Scale Up Lead assigned formulation, prototyping, or scale up activities that contribute to product readiness for downstream technical or manufacturing teams. Apply appropriate standards to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across iterative development work. Document and communicate results clearly to support technical decision making. 
5. Collaborate Cross Functionally to Advance Short? to Medium Term Pipeline Priorities Work with technical, product, design, operations, and business partners to maintain alignment across interconnected development activities. Provide clear updates, data, and insights to ensure dependencies and constraints are well understood. Support cross functional problem solving that drives progress across the innovation pipeline.
