Summary:

We’re looking for a UX Content Strategist to craft clear, consistent and inclusive user experiences on hersheyland.com. The role is the UX team representative who will work with internal stakeholders to define and prioritize business goals and requirements for Hersheyland and brand websites, and work closely with cross functional teams (design, UX and IT) to ensure the digital experience is optimized to host content and design elements. The Content Strategist will have the aptitude to help plan and leverage all content elements, including copy, images, and interactions (CTA).   

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain focus on the key messages throughout the consumer experience
  • Owner of the Hersheyland style guide and content strategy best practices and lessons learned
  • Partner with copywriters and visual designers (internal and external 3rd party) to execute on the digital content strategy and deliver rich consumer experiences
  • Manage content audits and gap analysis to determine relevant and valuable material.
  • Lead cross-company/brand initiatives to develop and deliver content to meet consumers needs using search, user and site data.
  • Oversee production calendar to track brand, seasonal, everyday and promotional content timelines, including assets, design, copy, meta data, authoring QA and go-live dates.
  • Work with seasons and digital sales teams to identify product lists, by season, for photography; create briefs and shot lists to be approved by brand and design teams for execution by the designated design partner
  • Manage CARB submission process as well as brand team approval for all created content, aligning in advance on requirements and specifications
  • Manage visual content quality audits to ensure continuous compliance with best practices as defined by the latest research and the content playbook
  • Create sampling campaigns to support new/existing products requiring reviews to increase on and offline conversion

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects/workstreams
  • Change management; ability to define ways of working to drive behavior change
  • Demonstrated communication and project management skills with an understanding of BIC visual assets and creative, preferably in a digital environment

 

Requirements: 

 

Education

  • BS/BA in marketing, design, communications, or other comparable field.

 

Experience

  • Two (2) plus years of work experience in digital marketing, or digital commerce, preferably in CPG
