Location: Hershey, PA
Hourly Pay Rate: $20
Minimum Age: 18 years of age or older
Availability: Monday – Tuesday (10am – 6pm)
Wednesday – Friday (Flexible within store hours and based on business needs)
The Sr. Store Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the West Hershey Employee Store, including maintaining excellent customer service, coordinating part-time store employee schedules, ordering inventory, merchandising products, stocking shelves, checking product freshness, and completing point-of-sale transactions. This part-time role requires strong attention to detail, dependability, initiative, and the ability to work independently while creating a welcoming experience for employees, retirees, and business guests.
This position is part-time up to a maximum of 28 hours per week, and availability must align with store needs and may vary within operating hours.
Employee Store Operating Hours
West Hershey: Monday & Tuesday– 11:00am- 6:00pm, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday- 6:00 am- 1:00pm.
This is a part-time, onsite position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania at the West Hershey plant. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position.
Major Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Ordering store inventory and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Scheduling store employees
- Setting up displays
- Responsible for opening the store and maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-ready environment.
- Assisting customers with the purchases and questions
- Restocking shelves and maintain a clean work area
- Operating a register
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and function effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills
- Must have basic math skills
- Ability to take initiative and coordinate daily store activities with minimal direction
- Prior retail, inventory management, merchandising, or scheduling experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry 40-50 lbs. and may require overhead lifting
- Requires bending, stooping and twisting
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
Experience: Retail Sales work experience preferred, but not required
