Summary:  
The Assistant Process Lead will provide support to the Line on the DDS & DMS and help to drive Hershey lean & continuous improvement culture.

Responsibilities: 
Daily Direction Setting

•    Assist in execute and monitoring standard on the shop floor
•    ensure tracking and maintain the loss data on the line to ensure top losses are being addressed
•    ensure and assist shop floor on the creation and revision of visual management system to be used as part of Daily Direction Setting. 
Hershey Lean Pillar implement 
•    Coordinate, verify data, and monitor CI projects for manufacturing plant to achieve CI and CI pipeline delivery
•    Support CI opportunity in the Manufacturing plant by Gemba walk, develop process mapping, train line tech on FI / Lean methodology such as 5Y, RCA method
•    Collaborate to drive the FI pillar elements & programs – 5S, RCO, TTP, CI Ideation, CI Workshop, Loss Analysis, RCA, Problem Solving Tools, OEE/ OEE2, etc.
•    Assist in develop standard for executing tasks on the line by executing data collection for all the respective line to implement DMS i.e. RCO & CL  
•    Assist in develop, manage, monitor equipment centerlines in the line 
•    Assist in structure daily problem solving on the line 
•    Ensure the data integrity and reporting of shift note, production activities such as CIL (Cleaning Lubrication Inspection) etc, and downtime are properly maintained and perform according to SOPs and guidelines
•    
Other Tasks: 
•    Support and provide guidance to the shop floor people in relevant with the use and application of shop floor systems and CI/DMS activities 
•    Perform audit on DMS to ensure their conformance to DMS checklist and feedbacks, if necessary advise on audit actions on gap closure 
•    Assist in support and execution of the trial run in the absent of the Process/CI leads
•    Any other tasks as instructed by superior 
•    Set up basic configuration of AIM (Accessible Information for Manufacturing) for the shop floor 
•    Guide the shop floor technicians on how to use the AIM or any other Hershey Systems
•    Perform basic configuration of easy DMS (Document Management System) to interface with AIM or any other Hershey Systems

Requirement:
Minimum Diploma in Engineering or related discipline 
3 – 5 years of experiences in manufacturing environment preferred, as process engineer, manufacturing engineer, or related position
2 – 3 years of Lean experiences in manufacturing is preferred
