Jr Microbiology Lab Analyst

Summary of major duties:

Perform ingredient, in-process, flushing or finished product testing and preparation job. 
Perform environmental microbiological monitoring program and support unplanned event e.g. incident, new project.
Prepare Certificate of Analysis for the Customer
Check the monthly stock of the consumables, media and kits in the Micro Lab and ensure sufficient consumables, media and kits for daily operation
Prepare standards and controls. Record and evaluate data, calculate and enter results into LabWare LIMS. Prepare tables and graphs of data as appropriate and perform the work as per ISO 17025 standards and requirements.
Maintain housekeeping, GLP and follow safety procedures in the lab. 
 

Education and Experience Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Food Technology, Chemical related studies with related field with 1-2 years of applicable professional working experience
