Process Lead
Responsibilities:-
Daily Direction Setting
- Develop standard for executing task on the line i.e. changeovers
- Train and coach shopfloors to execute standard properly
- Develop and manage equipment centerlines
- Structure daily problem solving on the line to develop action plans
- Own tracking and maintain the loss data on the line to ensure top losses are being addressed
- Guiding shopfloor on the creation and revision of visual management system to be used as part of Daily Direction Setting.
- Set up basic configuration of AIM (Accessible Information for Manufacturing) for the shop floor
- Train, coach and guide the shop floor technicians on how to use the AIM system
- Perform basic audit on the AIM system is being applied and used correctly by the shop floor
- Provide technical assistance and perform basic troubleshooting for the AIM system to shop floor users
- Consolidate and perform basic trend analysis based on data pulled from shop floor system
- Perform basic configuration of easyDMS (Document Management System) to interface with AIM
Continuous Improvement/ DMS Activities
- Assist in tracking and update plant’s key metrics
- Assist in tracking improvement activities/teams progress
- Provide simple and basic training on problem solving steps to the shop floor
- Perform inventory order and replenishment of CI related tools such as visual boards, visual management label, printing ribbons, etc.
- Take part as member in improvement activities/teams, if necessary
Other Tasks:
- Maintain all documentation and records related to Shop Floor Systems, Training, Onboarding, CI activities
- Provide coaching and guidance to the shop floor people in relevant with the use and application of shop floor system and CI/DMS activities
- Perform audit in all systems to ensure their conformance to SOPs and guidelines, provide audit gaps and feedback, if necessary advise on audit actions on gap closure
- Any other tasks as instructed by superior
Requirements:-
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred, as Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or related position
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing
- Basic understanding of manufacturing environment such as process and production lines, machinery and equipment set up, operation set-up and daily management system
- Basic understanding of problem solving steps, continuous improvement and root case failure analysis
