Job Responsibilities
• Demonstrate an understanding of OSH regulations and applicable industry environmental and safety standards.
• Assist Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to collect, analyze and maintain statistics on accidents, occupational poisonings and diseases, which occurred at the plant.
• Assist in managing emergency response team and its facilities in accordance with the regulations.
• Conduct workplace inspection and able to work with respective area owners to come out with solution to solve the unsafe act or unsafe conditions observed.
• Conduct incident investigation and generate incident report with minimal guidance
• Assist in managing the safety and health committee and ensure the committee is active.
• Assist in any safety & environmental programs and its execution
• Maintain safety records as required.
• To conduct training and provide guidelines to the workers on safety related matters.
• Able to participate/lead/ drive any committees.
Job Qualification
• Minimum, must hold a Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/Environment/Chemical engineering / Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in safety and environment or related experience.
• Experience working in manufacturing practices and processes environment related to people safety
• Must be able to work well in a team environment but also have the ability to work independently.
• Preference for food, food-related or consumer package goods experience
• Has experience in conducting training in previous work place.
• Has experience in safety and health committee and emergency response team.
